Jeff serves on the ACCI staff team as the African Director.
Jeff and Terri, along with their daughter Samara, lived in White River, South Africa for almost 2 years. Upon returning to Canada, they co-founded the Sawubona Project. This outreach is established in the township of Msholozi, a community about three hours north of Johannesburg, South Africa.
Sawubona Project’s Education Centre serves a vulnerable population through an interactive Life Skills program offered to youth and young adults while being facilitated by local leaders. Life Skills modules offer topics such as leadership, self-esteem, gender equity and HIV. While desire to help each participant recognize they are created in the image of God, Sawubona Project also aims to encourage students to embrace their intrinsic value and become Godly leaders who people can trust.
The Maziks just returned to South Africa to work directly with their team and further develop the Sawubona Project. They welcome your prayers in this time of transition.
