Life Skills Training in Msholozi South Africa
SAWUBONA PROJECT is a Canadian not-for-profit corporation. The name Sawubona Project was birthed while Jeff, Terri and Samara Mazik were living in White River, South Africa (2016-2017). Sawubona is a common Zulu greeting, which means, “We see you“.
While living in White River, The Mazik’s witnessed the beauty of South Africa’s landscape and her people set against a backdrop of the cruel reality of poverty. Life for the majority in South Africa is hard, painfully hard.
Jeff and Terri asked Samara, their then 9-year-old daughter a simple question, “What do you do when you see someone in need?” “You help them”, she said.
