Tak currently lives in Alberta, Canada, with his wife, Sarah, and their five children. His primary focus is to reach the spiritually lost Japanese people and help multiply disciple-making followers of Jesus in Japan and around the world.
He’s the founder of the Japan Biblical Counseling Association in Japan (JBCA), which trains and certifies Japanese biblical counselors while translating quality biblical counseling books for churches.
In addition, Tak also assists victims of natural disasters and supports disaster relief efforts, and is partnering with the ministry Matthew 13:23 to develop digital evangelism and offer follow-up Bible studies with new believers. Recently in Japan, thousands of people have been making decisions for Christ in the privacy of their homes, and Tak is encouraging churches to make more disciples of Jesus.
